With the Shopify App Excelify, you can now export your Orders to the UPS WorldShip® XML file, and here we will go thru the process.
Make sure that you contact UPS WorldShip support in your country to set up your WorldShip application and shipping profile.
Steps in short:
- Select to export Orders in the Excelify.
- Apply filters if needed.
- Select UPS WorldShip XML format.
- Export the file.
- Import the file in the UPS WorldShip.
1. Select Orders in the Excelify export
When you have opened the Excelify app, navigate to the Export section and select the checkbox “Orders”.
2. Apply filters if needed
You can apply multiple filters to export only the Orders that you need. There are various filters for orders that you can apply, in the example, Date Range, Relative Date, Fulfillment Status, Payments Status, and others. List of all available filters and their descriptions you can find in our “Export Filter” documentation page.
In my exmaple, I will export only unfulfilled Orders from yesterday.
For that I select two filters:
- Relative Date – Last 1 Days. This will export Orders from last full 1 day, thus – yesterday
- Fulfillment Status – Unfulfilled.
3. Select UPS WorldShip XML format
Before exporting the file you also need to make sure that the exported file is in the correct format.
To do so you can click on the format drop-down list next to the “Export” button.
4. Export the file
Now all the set up has been done and you can export the file. To export press the “Export” button.
Once the export is finished you can click on the “Download Exported File” button to download your file.
5. Import the file in the UPS WorldShip
Our recommendation is to set up the UPS WorldShip® to automatically take the XML file from your Downloads folder. That way the Shipping label is printed automatically as soon as the file is downloaded.
